If you are not running Version 10 or later, you need to perform this Base Install before installing *one* of the Latest Updates. Each update includes all changes from 10.0.0 on. In general, you may then install earlier or later versions on top of one another. Bugs are fixed only in the current version. Please report bugs in the current version.

  • Do not uninstall/reinstall. These versions are intended to be reinstalled on top of each other.

TR4W (TR for Windows) is a freeware program for operating in ham radio contests. Approximately 80 percent of the program is based on source code of the TR LOG MS-DOS program, kindly provided by Larry Tyree, N6TR (author of TR LOG). The basic idea of the TR4W project is porting TR LOG code to the Windows environment. TR4W is written in pure Windows API (application programming interface) and designed to be as small and fast as possible. The TR4W project was started in March 2006, by Dmitriy Gulyaev, UA4WLI. Currently the program is released as a beta version.

Wie met meerdere schermen werkt, was meestal aangewezen op de gebrekkige instellingen van Windows of een betaald programma dat de klus beter klaart. DisplayFusion kiest geen van beide kampen en biedt gestroomlijnd gebruik, zonder kosten.

Nadat de TFT-monitor een einde maakte aan ruimteverslindende beeldbuizen kon er eindelijk worden gekeken naar efficiëntere manieren van werken. Meerdere schermen naast elkaar zorgden voor een reusachtige desktop, waar in één oogopslag alles te vinden was. Met DisplayFusion kan je niet alleen visueel alles naar wens neerzetten, maar ook sneller werken dankzij de ingestelde sneltoetsen.

Met dit programma kan je verschillende achtergronden instellen voor beide monitors, maar ook gewoon een behangetje kiezen dat zich over twee beeldschermen uitstrekt. Als je niet goed weet welke plaat te nemen, gebruik dan de Flickr-zoekfunctie om er eentje binnen te halen via de populaire fotosite. Na de installatie van DisplayFusion sleep je voortaan deelvensters aan de titelbalk van scherm naar scherm. De vele sneltoetsen garanderen dat je programma’s snel tussen twee monitoren verdeelt. Via het instellingenscherm heb je ook rechtstreeks toegang tot de Windows-instellingen om problemen op te lossen. Als je geen meerdere schermen in bezit hebt, is DisplayFusion ook te gebruiken voor eenzame monitoren.

Voor dit gratis programma heb je wel Microsofts .NET Framework v2.0 nodig, dat je bij Microsoft (of op de downloadpagina van ontwikkelaar BinaryFortress) kan downloaden. Leer breed te denken met dit handige tooltje en zijn overzichtelijke sneltoetscombinaties.

Dit programma is, zoals de naam al aangeeft, bedoeld om troep van een Windows-pc te verwijderen. Het is echter niet bedoeld voor overbodige bestanden, zoals Crap Cleaner bijvoorbeeld, maar voor ‘rommel’ die met nieuwe pc’s geleverd worden. Grote fabrikanten als Dell, HP, Acer leveren namelijk een groot aantal programma’s met hun desktops en notebooks mee, zoals MusicMatch, cd/dvd-brandprogramma’s, probeerversies van antivirusprogramma’s of aanbiedingen van isp’s, waar lang niet iedereen op zit te wachten. Met PC Decrapifier kan deze ‘reclame’ naar keuze snel en eenvoudig verwijderen.

EasyPal Full is the work of Erik VK4AES.  Do not bother him with emails
about the program.  If you need help, someone on the DIGSSTV newsgroup
may be able to help you.  Be sure to include the version number in any
report of a problem.  Also keep up to date and use the latest version.

This software uses the DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale) encoding to allow
the sending of image files over an HF voice channel.  This is known as
Digital SSTV.

The GUI was written with Delphi and compiled on a Windows Vista system.
It works best when run on a two GHz or faster CPU with Windows Vista.
Although less stable, it should run on most fast PC’s with Windows XP.
Keep in mind that it is still in beta testing.
