Airlink Express is a user friendly digital mode software package for the Amateur Radio Operator. The software is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows Vista, and Microsoft Windows 7. It offers PSK, MFSK and RTTY digital modes with logging and macro capabilities. If you have ever used the Digipan software you will be immediately familiar with Airlink Express.
With the release of Windows Vista and Windows 7, Microsoft introduced a new sound architecture. Airlink Express is developed to support this new sound architecture, yet it maintains complete backward compatibility with Windows XP. Airlink Express brings back the familiar volume slider interface you’ve become used to from older Windows versions.
The DSP engine used in Airlink Express is MMVari by Makoto Mori, JE3HHT. This engine is very flexible and decodes as well, if not better, than any other soundcard mode engine currently available. It is used by many other software products like Logger32 and the N1MM contest logger.

If you are not running Version 10 or later, you need to perform this Base Install before installing *one* of the Latest Updates. Each update includes all changes from 10.0.0 on. In general, you may then install earlier or later versions on top of one another. Bugs are fixed only in the current version. Please report bugs in the current version.
Notes:
- Do not uninstall/reinstall. These versions are intended to be reinstalled on top of each other.
- Make a backup of your install directory on a regular basis, especially if upgrading from older versions!

Apple heeft versie 5.0.2 van zijn webbrowser Safari uitgebracht. De browser is beschikbaar voor Mac OS X en Windows XP, Vista en 7. Safari heeft alles wat je van een moderne browser mag verwachten, zoals tabs, een rss-lezer en een pop-up-blocker. Plug-ins zoals Flash, Java en Windows Media Player kunnen via deze pagina worden binnengehengeld. Nieuw in versie 5.0 is onder andere Safari Reader, waarmee webpagina’s zonder drukke banners en kolommen gelezen kunnen worden. Verder zijn de prestaties verbeterd, is de ondersteuning voor html 5 verder uitgebreid en is de adresbalk een stuk slimmer geworden. Update Mozilla SeaMonkey 2.0.7 NL

Seamonkey is de voortzetting van de voormalige Mozilla Application Suite en bestaat uit een op Netscape gelijkende webbrowser en programma’s om te e-mailen en rss-nieuws te lezen, en wordt gecompleteerd met een eenvoudige html-editor. Seamonkey wordt door de community onderhouden, overzien door de Seamonkey Council.
De SeaMonkey browser heeft min of meer dezelfde eigenschappen als Firefox. Firefox heeft echter een geïntegreerde zoekbalk, is gebruikersvriendelijker, start wat sneller en oogt wat frisser. De losse onderdelen van SeaMonkey zijn ook te verkrijgen als Firefox (browser), Thunderbird (mail en news) en Kompozer (wysiwyg html-editor).
De belangrijkste veranderingen in versie 2.0 zijn dat de webbrowser nu op Firefox 3.5 is gebaseerd, dat de MailNews-applicatie ook rss- and Atom-feeds kan weergeven en dat de password- en downloadmanager sterk is verbeterd.

Sd heeft vandaag een nieuwe update uitgebracht van zijn contestlogger. The last “free” release was V14.30.
SD sets the standard for fast, simple logging and editing in the major international contests and in dozens of others worldwide. It is intended for single-op unassisted entries, and runs on Windows, from Win95 to Vista, and on Linux/Wine – with a console-mode (text) interface.
SD supports rig control, serial and parallel keying – and integrates with WinKey to eliminate CW timing issues caused by Windows – the WKUSB kit is recommended. microHAM’s USB CW Keyer offers WinKey and level converters for rig control in a single package.
SD offers instant “full-screen” editing of any QSO in your log. All SD’s files, including the log, are ASCII and can be viewed with any text editor.
SD is the only contest logger to offer the following features, in real-time, as you type individual callsign characters. There’s no need to touch another key or memorise Ctrl-This or Alt-That.
